“Some politicians,”… Obama droned on as he scratched his head with his index finger while he tried to come up with a snappy reason why gasoline prices are going up so early in the year. He continued…”they see this as a political opportunity”…and then he patronized the crowd by saying, “I know you’re shocked about that.” The Obama friendly crowd obligingly laughed at his weak attempt to joke about what the Republican candidates are beginning to see as a weakness of this president. A president who has not been able to control the oil companies, nor the maggots who are speculating on oil prices, nor the press who has been screaming for the past few weeks about the rising cost of gasoline. Barack Obama has not been able to do anything about the price of gas per gallon since he took office almost four year ago.
I sincerely believe the press has had an effect on gasoline prices. The press cries like Chicken Little, to all the owners of gasoline stations, the price per gallon of states like California and New York. They’ve been reporting about the price per gallon when it was $3.49 and they’ve been predicting that the price of gasoline will be going to over $5.00 per gallon throughout the nation for the coming summer months, if not earlier. This president then continued later on in his attack on the Republican candidates for the office of president of the United States of America, that he can not fix the price of gasoline, in one year, one term nor in more than 4 years.
Mr. Obama why are you so inept and powerless? Do the oil companies rule the world. Do corporations have more power than the office of President of the United States of America? Do they have control of the Armed Forces in Iraq, Afghanistan and the Persian Gulf? I think it’s time to elect a President like Richard Milhous Nixon who froze gasoline prices during the Arab embargo back in the 70′s.
And then there’s the lack of control of his troops in Afghanistan. Burning the Koran to incite the believers of Mohammed by his troops is unacceptable. Peeing and desecrating the bodies of those who oppose the Americans in the Middle East is also unacceptable. Why has he not asked for the resignation of the commander of these idiots who haven’t yet left these people alone to fend for themselves. It’s time for these idiots to stop defending and fighting for me. They are an embarrassment and if one or two U.S. soldiers die during the riots, an apology will just not be enough Mr. President. Fire the commanders of these troops and court martial those responsible for pouring oil on the fires in the Middle East.tEEdMX0E4Cs
Thankfully, most of our troops are polite young men and women who abhor the actions of these idiots. These heroes are trying to help the people of nations who have been oppressed by tyrants. They’re trying to bring instant Democracy and instant Capitalism to these thankless ingrates. It’s time to bring all the troops home and let the natives fend for themselves.
These Rich Republican beggars, I would rather say an expletive, who are running for the nomination of their party for the right to challenge Barack Obama in next year’s election are beginning to show their weaknesses by attacking each other. The Mitt, says he knows how it feels, to be about to lose your job. ”I know what it’s like to to worry whether you’re going to get fired. There were a couple of of times I wondered whether I was going to get a pink slip.
Santorum claims in America we don’t have classes.
Oh…really? We might not have castes but we certainly do have classes. The middle is where everybody belongs, because we were all born equal, with equal rights. Right? The couple I saw on Woodhaven Blvd, wearing backpacks holding a sign, they also belong to my class. I was not able to read the woman’s plea, because the llight turned red suddenly, and by the time I stopped the car safely, she had already walked past my car. I saw her through my side mirror hesitate for a second walking back to me to beg for something, but I had just washed my car and it looked too nice for her to bother asking me for anything. I did enjoy their use of a prop to get sympathy. A nice dog whose owner was wrapping him up in a blue blanket. The dog was in a sitting position allowing his master to keep him warm. The owner was sitting on his backpack. Now I wonder if these are vestiges of the Occupy Wall Street movement. Yes Santorum is right, these two are in my class.
How about Newt Gingrich? “Could we drop a little bit of the pious baloney?” He now seems to be the voice of truth. He appears, when he speaks to be knowledgeable, but how can I know if what he says is the truth, since I’m an ignorant man.
Then there is Ron Paul who I can’t decipher. Is everything I hear about him false? ”They think I’m a dangerous person, and I admit it!” He doesn’t even think he can be President of the United States of America. ” Mr. Not really…” why are you running? Is he the NYMets of baseball? The man is so honest and transparent Dave Letterman says he’s like the kind of guy you keep for observation.
John Huntsman, the underdog who speaks to us in Chinese. He was an ambassador to China, under Obama. He took the post because it was his duty. He had just been elected governor of Utah by an overwhelming majority when he accepted the challenge. He has two sons serving in the military, under Obama. ”It’s their duty to support their commander in chief,” we are reminded by their father.
Then there were Michele Bachman, “The Hair” and and Mr. 999. One is arrogant and the others are fools. I’m so glad for the power of women scorned or harassed, because they bite like Pit Bulls and won’t let go until the prey succumbs. Too bad for Mr. Godfather Pizza. I was enjoying his vehement denials week after week.
Michele, too bad for your poor showing in your home state. This was a statement she heard loud and clear. Thank God, because all I could see in her, was her beauty. Her voice never penetrated my mind.
And last but not least, “The Hair.” He was so arrogant as to think he could broker his New York Real Estate Power into the role of kingmaker. Newt actually paid a visit to the king at his Tower. He then thought since he was out of the race, why not moderate a debate. It was scheduled but being boycotted by most of the candidates, forced its cancellation. Oh what rage. The hair almost flew off his head. He then had no other choice but to drop the idea of being a moderator. Still seething, he dropped out of the Republican Party to become an Independent. Earthquakes hit New York. I felt the shock down in the subway with my fellow Middle Class men. ”‘The Hair’ might run for President on the Independent Line,” I could imagine the headlines in the NY Post, thus taking away votes from the lucky man who garners the most votes in the primaries to be selected to challenge Barack Obama, thereby guaranteeing this “One Term President” a second chance to “change” America. But who reads the New York Post anyway.
God Bless America because the people are beginning to awaken. Just like in Tunisia, the birth of the Arab Spring, an awakening of the people will be dangerous for the country. I for one, am tired of the rhetoric, the accusations, the churlish behavior, and childish lies. The Congress and the House —what have they done to bring America back on her feet? Nothing! She is still on her knees awaiting a helping hand from all parties. I hope next year’s elections actually produce positive, constructive changes. Oh, by the way I just realized I forgot Rick Perry. Commerce, that’s the answer. Oops.

A protester handed President Barack Obama a note while shaking hands along a rope line in New Hampshire today. Photographer Charlie Dharapak smartly zoomed in so you can read the note for yourself.
“Banks got bailed out. We got sold out.”
Dhaparak likely had to move, slightly to the left, to get that shot. Which means the President must have held it up long enough to read it.
President Obama, please don’t ignore this anymore. Police brutality is police brutality. Speak out against it.
I think Americans are beginning to realize this isn’t really the land of the free. We’re free until the law decides to incarcerate us. These protest movements might degenerate into armed confrontations. The use of excessive force by the authorities is a mistake.
