2:07 “We can’t stand for this.  This is a situation where the rhetoric and firing people up and even things for example… We’re on Sarah Palin’s targeted list but the thing is that the way she has it depicted…has the crosshairs of a gun sight over our district.  When people do that they have to realize there are consequences to that action.”
Q: Do you really think this is what she intended?
“You know I can’t say… I’m not Sarah Palin. But what I can say is that in the years that some of my colleagues have served, 20 30 years,  they’ve never seen it like this.  We have to work out our problems by negotiating…”

Will Sarah Palin regret having posted a U.S. map with the crosshairs of a rifle scope?

Was the attempted assassination of U.S. Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords this morning by a 22 year-old a result of her backing of President Obama’s health care reform? Gifffords’ support of ObamaCare made her a popular target of conservative talking head Sarah Palin and Tea Party members during the 2010 election. Sarah Palin on her Facebook page, had posted earlier last year a U.S. map with crosshairs of a rifle scope over the districts represented by Giffords and 19 other Democrats.
