…in video clips that emerged on social media Sunday evening, ahead of his speech at this week’s Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC).
CPAC reportedly announced over the weekend that the alt-right provocateur would be this year’s keynote speaker at the conference. However, organizer Matt Schlapp reportedly said that Yiannopoulos will not be the keynote speaker, but instead, will be one among 75 other speakers that include respected members of the GOP, such as Vice President Mike Pence and White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus.
Following this, the controversial video of Milo emerged where he is seen defending pedophilia in the past. The video is from a 2016 episode of “The Drunken Peasants” podcast.
In the video, Milo was asked: “The whole consent thing for me. It’s not this black and white thing that people try to paint it. Are there some 13-year-olds out there capable of giving informed consent to have sex with an adult, probably…”
Milo replied: “The law is probably about right, that’s probably roughly the right age. I think it’s probably about okay, but there are certainly people who are capable of giving consent at a younger age, I certainly consider myself to be one of them, people who are sexually active younger. I think it particularly happens in the gay world by the way.”
He went on to add: “This is a controversial point of view I accept. We get hung up on this kind of child abuse stuff to the point where we’re heavily policing even relationships between consenting adults, you know grad students and professors at universities.”
“In the homosexual world, particularly, some of those relationships between younger boys and older men — the sort of ‘coming of age’ relationship — those relationships in which those older men help those young boys discover who they are and give them security and safety and provide them with love and a reliable, sort of rock, where they can’t speak to their parents,” he is heard saying in the video.
Milo was also seen normalizing pedophilia in another video that includes an interview with comedian Joe Rogan in 2015 where he had discussed his sexual relationship with “Father Michael,” which he allegedly had when he was 14.
In the interview Milo is seen asking Rogan “So you’re saying you’ve never seen a 15-year-old girl, at any point in your life, that you thought was hot?”
“Yeah, when I was 15!” Rogan replied. “I’m not retarded dude.”
“No, when you were 25 or 30, you’ve never seen girls you thought were hot?” Milo asked again.
“No, I thought they were little kids!” Rogan said.
