WIRED: Convicted CIA Leaker John Kiriakou’s Got Some Opinions About WikiLeaks and Trump

Check out this great article I read on WIRED:

How does the Vault 7 leak look to a famous CIA whistleblower? It’s complicated.

  • TIME OF PUBLICATION: 10:00 AM.10:00 AM

JOHN KIRIAKOU KNOWS a lot about leaking classified information. He went to prison for it.

A former CIA agent who said too much about the Bush-era torture program, he’s also the first CIA leaker to go to jail for his trouble. Kiriakou served just under two years in federal prison, though before the Department of Justice offered a plea deal, it seemed more likely he’d serve as many as 45. Continue reading

Donald Trump is no Republican — September 7, 2016

Donald Trump is no Republican

“Individual liberty? Trump has displayed an authoritarian streak that should horrify limited-government advocates. This impulsive, unbridled New York real estate billionaire and reality-TV star wants to deport people who were born in the U.S. and don’t meet his standard for loyalty.”

“We have no interest in a Republican nominee for whom all principles are negotiable, nor in a Republican Party that is willing to trade away principle for pursuit of electoral victory.”

“Trump doesn’t reflect Republican ideals of the past; we are certain he shouldn’t reflect the GOP of the future.”

“Donald Trump is not qualified to serve as president and does not deserve your vote.”

Donald Trump Rally Turns Ugly: ‘Light The Motherf**ker On Fire!’

A Las Vegas rally for Republican presidential hopeful Donald Trump turned ugly Monday night, the eve of a Republican presidential debate, after multiple protesters interrupted the candidate’s speech.

According to reporters at the event, held at the Westgate Las Vegas Resort and Casino, protesters clashed with security guards as they were escorted from the room. Some of the protesters appeared to be Black Lives Matter activists and gun control supporters.

At one point, as security guards attempted to remove a black man from the rally, an attendee said, “Light the motherfucker on fire!”

Donald J. Trump: Naive man. Do you think people can’t become…

Radicalized in America?IMG_2735

Donald Trump is desperately trying to become the first man of “no color” to be ousted from a presidential primary.   What’s next Trump?   Concentration camps, door to door searches, sterilization of all Moslem women, the “Rape of Nanking” behavior against them?

Donald J. Trump’s plan to ban Moslem until our leaders know what is happening is scaring away the Statue of Liberty back to France.

Before you start your Moslem and Mexican Plans why not propose a National Identity card so that we can prove without having to search for a birth certificate, that we are citizens of the United States of America?

Gun ownership is both a basic American right and one of the most contentious social and political issues of the day. — December 5, 2015

Gun ownership is both a basic American right and one of the most contentious social and political issues of the day.

johnlennonLet me tell you a  fairy tale about a Pakistani girl who emigrated to Saudi Arabia with her father.  Years later she finds her Prince Charming, an American, marries him.  She gives birth to a child in the United States of America.  Let’s assume the Prince is the father and let’s not ask Maury Povich to do a paternity test on his show.  Couple lives happily ever after. The end.  No.  Not quite like that.  Six months later the baby is an orphan.  The couple, leave their six-month-old baby daughter with relatives, two hours later the couple is killed in a shootout with police SWAT team members.

Gun ownership pros and cons:

End the Gun Epidemic in America

It is a moral outrage and national disgrace that civilians can legally purchase weapons designed to kill people with brutal speed and efficiency.

I’m in favor of not restricting responsible people from owning guns.  I have yet to see a gun kill anyone.  There is always a human behind the weapon who does the killing.  The gun is an instrument that needs to be issued with caution to people.  I believe we need a National Identity card where all information about an individual is available to the authorities who will decide if an individual is a candidate for gun ownership.  There should be a waiting period where the individual should attend mandatory safety classes.  If the individual fails to pass these classes  he loses the right to ownership and must forfeit all fees paid.

The Republicans are Coming Apart

These  Rich Republican beggars, I would rather say an expletive, who are running for the nomination of their party for the right to challenge Barack Obama in next year’s election are beginning to show their weaknesses by attacking each other.  The Mitt, says he knows how it feels, to be about to lose your job.  “I know what it’s like to to worry whether you’re going to get fired.  There were a couple of of times I wondered whether  I was going to get a pink slip.

Santorum claims in America we don’t have classes.

Oh…really?  We might not have castes but we certainly do have classes.  The middle is where everybody belongs, because we were all born equal, with equal rights.  Right?  The couple I saw on Woodhaven Blvd, wearing backpacks holding a sign, they also belong to my class.  I was not able to read the woman’s plea, because the llight turned red suddenly, and by the time I stopped the car safely, she had already walked past my car.  I saw her through my side mirror hesitate for a second walking back to me to beg for something, but I had just washed my car and it looked too nice for her to bother asking me for anything. I did enjoy their use of a prop to get sympathy.  A nice dog whose owner was wrapping him up in a blue blanket.  The dog was in a sitting position allowing his master to keep him warm.  The owner was sitting on his backpack.  Now I wonder if these are vestiges of the Occupy Wall Street movement.  Yes Santorum is right, these two are in my class.

How about Newt Gingrich? “Could we drop a little bit of the pious baloney?”  He now seems to be the voice of truth.  He appears, when he speaks to be knowledgeable,  but how can I know if what he says is the truth, since I’m an ignorant man.

Then there  is Ron Paul who I can’t decipher.  Is everything I hear about him false?  “They think I’m a dangerous person, and I admit it!” He doesn’t even think he can be President of the United States of America.  ” Mr. Not really…” why are you running?  Is he the NYMets of baseball?  The man is so honest and transparent Dave Letterman says he’s like the kind of guy you keep for observation.

John Huntsman, the underdog who speaks to us in Chinese.  He was an ambassador to China, under Obama.  He took the post because it was his duty.  He had just been elected governor of Utah by an overwhelming majority when he accepted the challenge.  He has two sons serving in the military, under Obama.  “It’s their duty to support their commander in chief,” we are reminded by their father.

Then there were Michele Bachman, “The Hair” and and Mr. 999.  One is arrogant and the others are fools.  I’m so glad for the power of women scorned or harassed, because they bite like Pit Bulls and won’t let go until the prey succumbs.  Too bad for Mr. Godfather Pizza.  I was enjoying his vehement denials week after week.

Michele, too bad for your poor showing in your home state.  This was a statement she heard loud and clear.  Thank God, because all I could see in her, was her beauty.  Her voice never penetrated my mind.

And last but not least, “The Hair.” He was so arrogant as to think he could broker his New York Real Estate Power into the role of kingmaker.  Newt actually paid a visit to the king at his Tower.  He then thought since he was out of the race, why not moderate a debate.  It was scheduled but being boycotted by most of the candidates, forced its cancellation.  Oh what rage.  The hair almost flew off his head.  He then had no other choice but to drop the idea of being a moderator.  Still seething, he dropped out of the Republican Party to become an Independent.  Earthquakes hit New York.  I felt the shock down in the subway with my fellow Middle Class men.  “‘The Hair’ might run for President on the Independent Line,” I could imagine the headlines in the NY Post, thus taking away votes from the lucky man who garners the most votes in the primaries to be selected to challenge Barack Obama, thereby guaranteeing this “One Term President” a second chance to “change” America. But who reads the New York Post anyway.

God Bless America because the people are beginning to awaken.  Just like in Tunisia, the birth of the Arab Spring, an awakening of the people will be dangerous for the country.  I for one, am tired of the rhetoric, the accusations, the churlish behavior,  and childish lies. The Congress and the House —what have they done  to bring America back on her feet?  Nothing! She is still on her knees awaiting a helping hand from all parties.  I hope next year’s elections actually produce positive, constructive changes.  Oh, by the way I just realized  I forgot Rick Perry.  Commerce, that’s the answer.  Oops.
